WAKILI
OPEN SOURCE · AGPL-3.0 · RUNS OFFLINE

Turn a messy case file into a filing you can defend.

Wakili reads your PDFs, photographs, Swahili and code-switched audio and WhatsApp exports, and builds an evidence chain, a deadline calendar for your court, and an encrypted bundle you can carry on a USB stick.

The AI runs on your own laptop. It does not upload your case — and it cannot protect you from someone who already has your computer.

A leaning stack of mismatched documents beside a court bundle tied and closed with a seal.
HOW A CASE MOVES THROUGH WAKILI

Five steps, in the order you actually work

Click a step. Nothing here is a demo of the cloud — every stage below happens on the machine in front of you.

MODELS

Pick the model your machine can actually carry

Move the slider to your laptop's memory. Wakili does the same check on first run, and it tells you when a model would be too slow to be useful.

What Wakili does not do

Read this before you rely on it. If any of it changes, it changes here first.

It does not protect a laptop that someone else already controls. If the machine is compromised, so is the case.
It does not hide that you used it. Someone with access to the computer can see Wakili ran, and when a bundle was built.
It does not know the law. It has read a great deal of text and can be confidently wrong about all of it.
It does not file for you, serve for you, or speak to a court on your behalf.
It cannot recover a bundle whose passphrase is lost. There is no copy held anywhere.
